| Summary: James H. Lubowitz,
M.D., is director of Taos Orthopaedic
Institute, Taos Orthopaedic Institute Research Foundation
and Taos Orthopaedic Institute Sports Medicine Fellowship
Training Program. He is a member of the medical staff for
the United States Ski
and
Snowboard Team and New
Mexico Highlands University, Department of Athletics. He
is also an Associate Editor for
The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery
and serves as a clinical instructor in the Department of
Orthopaedic Surgery at the
University of New Mexico. Dr. Lubowitz received his
Bachelor of Arts from
Harvard College
in 1984 and his Doctor of Medicine from the
University of
Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1988. He served as a
resident at the
UCLA Department of Orthopaedic Surgery from 1988-1992
and as a Chief Resident in 1993. From 1993-1994, Dr.
Lubowitz served as the American Orthopaedic Society for
Sports Medicine Fellow at Thomas Jefferson University in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and assisted in coverage of the
Philadelphia Phillies,
Wings,
Freedom,
and Flyers.
Dr. Lubowitz has resided and practiced in Taos since 1994. |
